Brunch Is Always A Good Idea
Brunch: the meal that rules them all. Pancakes? Yes please. Bacon? Absolutely. Mimosas? Okay, is that even a question. One of the things we miss from the pre-quarantine days is a good ol' classic weekend brunch. But wait, who says we can't bring boozy brunch home to us?
Here are some fun ways to make brunch at home just as thrilling:
- Jazz up a parfait by putting it in a wine glass. Pair it with a dainty spoon. (We layered ours with a mango-orange puree, and topped it with some crushed cereal for that extra flair.)
- Dress up some classic pancakes with some hearty nuts or some gorgeous fruit. We chose a few roasted pecans.
- Add some fresh florals to your brunch tablescape with some fresh florals or a new placemat to give it that "we're-trying-out-that-just-opened-hip-new-brunch-place" feel.
The most important part: set 0 alarms and wake up late. Take your sweet time to prep and cook while sippin' on that coffee. After all, brunch is always still acceptable at 2:00 pm. Weekends just got a lil better.
